Tuesday, February 1st, 2011Manpower Requirement In India- HR Consultants To Play Crucial Role
I remember the speech of Indian President Pratibha Patil, she delivered at post-centennial silver jubilee celebration of Deccan Education Society and Fergusson College. She asked the colleges to plan effectively to meet out growing demand of skilled manpower to contribute in nation’s progress. A report recently released by Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry states that more than 87.40 million jobs are going to be created soon in different business sectors by 2015. Are we ready to meet the challenge or will we depend upon outsourcing of talent from outside of country? This question makes the ‘Manpower Requirement in India’ a topic of common interest.
During last couple of decades, education industry for almost every stream flourished at fast rate in India. As a result, today we have sufficient pool of skilled manpower to take on the new challenges being poised by the globalization. But it hurts me that like in US unemployment rate in India too is on rise. When industrial development in India is drawing attention of almost all the countries, then what are the reasons that trigger growth in unemployment rate?
The practices adopted for manpower requirement in India are far behind from those being adopted in developed countries. The exposure of vacancies and opportunities are not exposed well. Comparatively less availability of Internet in remote places is another reason that keeps the majority of well educated youths refrain from grabbing opportunities. National employment exchange is also not as much effective as such cells are in other countries.
Some leading companies conduct campus interviews but the passed out candidates don’t viagra the information in time and if they are employed they don’t get leave to attend the interview. So, limitations and reason are many, some of these are natural while some are created by ourselves.
HR consultants in India especially in New Delhi are emerging fast as a great help for the unemployed youths. These consultants have wide pool of vacancies and job seekers both. When an employer or job seeker approaches to these agencies, the professionals match the requirements and inform the both. It seems that HR consultants in Delhi hold the key to solve the foreseen problems of manpower requirement in India.
